About a year ago, you had read about British multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer Shopping From Virtual Shelves Brought To You By Tesco at airports and how they brought groceries to your house once you have finalised the order by your smartphone. Taking the idea forward this time is Wal-Mart Canada, who now implemented the same idea but with Quick Response (QR) codes pasted at bus terminals in Toronto for easy shopping. The concept is the same, you scan the QR code printed against the product you want with your smartphone which then redirects you to the product webpage at Wal-Mart[dot]ca from which you can place the order for your desired product by paying with your credit card or cash from PayPal.

Wal-Mart
Wal-Mart is planning to implement this shopping method at over 50 bus stations across Canada. The campaign was started by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. to provide shopping on-the-go for busy citizens of Canada who do not have the time or patience to go to the Wal-Mart stores.

QR technology has now been used in many ways; one of the examples is of Mercedes Benz who have #-Link-Snipped-#.
