VITEEE 2015 counseliing reveals CSE as most promising branch

VITEEE 2015 Counselling Phase 1 for ranks 1 to 20,000 concluded on May 16, 2015 with Computer Science and Engineering emerging as the most sought after branch at Vellore campus of VIT University. All the seats of this branch were filled on the first day of counselling, whereas seats in branches like Production and Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. remained vacant till the third day. At Chennai campus also, CSE was the most popular branch among the participants.
On the first day of counselling, all the seats reserved for Computer Science and Engineering were filled at Vellore campus. This was the most preferred branch among top scorers. But in Chennai campus, 208 seats were still left for CSE.
