Videocon has announced the plans to launch 4G plans in India this year. Videocon's CEO, Arvind Bali has confirmed that the company is planning to launch full-fledged 4G services in India this year. Along with the network, Videocon will also launch products and associated services in MP, UP, Haryana, Chattisgadh, Gujarat, Bihar and Jharkhand.

Exact month of the launch has not been announced yet. This year might be exciting for wireless Internet users. We're expecting Reliance to enter into the markets with their own 4G offerings as well and it'd be interesting to watch which company disrupts the wireless broadband markets with pricing. Currently Airtel's offering 4G services in major cities like Kolkata, Bangalore & Pune and is expected to launch in Delhi in the next few weeks.

Make sure that you've a 4G capable phone/hardware to enjoy the LTE awesomeness!
