US Navy plans to get Jet Fuel from Seawater @<$6/Gal

That is unlikely, but right. The US Navy has succeeded in harvesting Carbon Dioxide and Hydrogen from sea water and synthesize hydrocarbons right on high seas. If plans pan out they claim that jet fuel can be made for less than US$ ^ per Gallon!
