Ultmate Ears Wonderboom is a tiny waterproof Bluetooth speaker that fits in your budget

Ultimate Ears, the company famous for its high-end Bluetooth speakers has delved into the entry-level segment with its new offering, the Wonderboom. The UE Wonderboom is the company’s cheapest Bluetooth speaker with a price tag of $100. The UE Wonderboom shall reach retail stores in April in various colour variants that have been given unique names by the company. The six colour variants are Stone, Phantom, Fireball, SubZero, Cashmere and Lilac. There also shall be an Apple Store exclusive colour variant which shall be launched sometime later.

The UE Wonderboom catches your eye with its cylindrical body and two huge volume control buttons on the front. The UE Wonderboom offers clear, crisp and bass filled audio anytime anywhere. When they say that the UE Wonderboom is waterproof they aren’t kidding. The UE Wonderboom can float on water and even continue to play music. If it gets dirty, you can simply rinse it off with water. The UE Wonderboom not only has volume control buttons but also play, pause, skip buttons on the top. You can pair one UE Wonderboom with another so that you can obtain twice the sound.

The UE Wonderboom offers 10 hours of music playback and once it runs out of charge you can replenish the battery using the microUSB port on the UE Wonderboom in around 3 hours. The UE Wonderboom comes with a loop so that you can hang it anywhere. The company claims that the UE Wonderboom is virtually indestructible as it has been subjected to drop tests of up to five feet. Coming to the tech specs of the UE Wonderboom it measures 102mm in height, has a diameter of 93.5mm and weighs 425grams. The UE Wonderboom is able to produce 360degree sound owing to two active drivers and two passive radiators. The UE Wonderboom is rated IP67 water and dust proof. You can even submerge it in 1m water for up to 30 minutes. The UE Wonderboom can be paired with up to 8 Bluetooth devices from up to a range of 33m.
