Notifying of the alliance, Suneet Singh Tuli, CEO of Datawind stated that they were way too happy with this strategic partnership working out with Reverie that endowed them with quality language solutions. He strongly stressed on the point of technology having a reach to every corner in the world, and that the language should not pose itself as a barrier for the same. This collaboration shall ensure an OS level of integration, that will account for an overall user experience and that too in the user's opted language. With its text-proffering technology, UbiSlate is now efficient enough to exhibit all languages with complex scripts and keypads for the supported languages, plus a transliteration technology.

So far, Datawind has dished out two Aakash tablets in an affordable range of INR 3000- 4000. With more and more web-giants opting to translate alien languages in one's own vernacular, it seems that technology will find its rightful place and pace in the time to come. Let's wait and watch!
