Artemis III Crew Selected

I am happy to announce that the Artemis III crew has been finalized, it consists of:

Commander Randy Bresnik, Pilot Luca Parmitano, and Mission Specialists Frank Rubio and Andre Douglas whereas Bob Hines was selected as the backup crew member

Rather than this being a Moon landing or a Lunar flyby, this mission will be a LEO (Low Earth Orbit) test flight where they will test rendezvous docking maneuvers with commercial space flight systems, such as those of SpaceX (you might know from Elon Musk) and Blue Origins. It is scheduled in 2027

This is a crucial mission as it prepares us for the future deep space missions, and helps exercise and practice the essential maneuvers required beforehand.
