TVS 200cc Bike Likely After TVS+BMW Motorrad Partnership

Chennai based TVS motorcycles want Indians to commute on better bikes. The company's been facing fierce competition from Bajaj & Honda - and now wants to answer the competition with a 200CC bike. While the rumours of the bike have been floating on the Internet for several months now, we expect TVS to raise the curtains in the 2014's auto-show. The 150 - 200 cc segment is rapidly growing in India in the recent times and several bike manufacturers are aiming to launch their products in this segment. TVS is in talks with BMW Motorrad to acquire the technology for high-end bikes and wants to move beyond the 180cc for the upcoming bikes.
