People start losing interest while watching movies especially when they are unable to enjoy the cinematic effects produced from home audio systems. It feels great when we sit in a stadium type theatre where sound comes in the most effective way.

The problem with home theatre systems are that the sound is actually projected to a particular area within the room; if you locate yourself to that area, you enjoy sound the most. Recently, THX has proposed a sound system that has an array of 8 sound projecting spots. Guess what? You will be dumbstruck to see the Steerable Line Array speaker system that holds 92 little speaker drivers geared up fire high precision sound throughout the room uniformly.

You need not take the pain for controlling the high, mid and low frequency sound; the company has powered the system to control these functionalities by itself. The array is around six feet length where the speakers are driven by a 100 watt amplifier for pumping enough sound.

Interestingly, users can customize the so called ‘sweet spots’ (the area where sound projects) as per their comfort. In addition, the THX Steerable Line Array speaker system is also integrated with chips to work with the mobile devices. The company says that it has plans to setup the speaker system with in-built infrared sensors to detect people within the room and setup sweet spots accordingly.

After getting mindful ideas, you might be guessing as to what extent the price may rise. In fact the company has not yet revealed any signs of its price but we guess, a system that is mastered to depict the art of craftsmanship is definitely going to hold a healthy price tag. So keep on saving and we would be happy if you would be one of the lucky owners.
