'Telepod' Offers Real Time Interaction With A Virtually 3D-Projected Person!
Imagine moving around and simultaneously interacting with the 3D projection of a person miles away from you. Oh wait! Don't imagine. Just go try out this new life-sized #-Link-Snipped-# developed by some level-headed Canadian researchers at the Human Media Lab at Queen's University, Canada.

Traditional displays do not provide support for the projection of an "entire person", for the sole reason of being flat. That's where this telepod jumps in. The plus of using this telepod is, it can project a whole person in a tube-like cylindrical system before you. And the 3D is not like we know it to be. The 3D effects in movies just allow a slight depth to the existing 2D that renders it a 3D quality. But the full-3D of this Telepod ensures that while talking to the person before you, you can move around the cylinder and check out his bums too. Yes, the tube allows us to view the entire physical structure of the speaker clearly from all sides. How COOL is THAT!
Apart from the six #-Link-Snipped-# sensors on the speaker, four other sensors are place around the room, taking the total count of sensors to ten. The four sensors about the room is the reason we are able to see the side views and back views of the speaker.

Clearly, this one shall surely stir up the digital communication known to man at present. Although in a crude state now, we are pretty sure that a refined version is out there in the making. What do you think of this? Voice out in comments below!
