I'm bit surprised. If you are not sure about BA role, why are you planning to make a switch to it? Also, what is the criteria to decide whether a role will be good or not good for you?

Yes, switching to a Business Analyst (BA) role can be a good decision if you are interested in working with business processes, data analysis, and stakeholder management. BAs play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, making it a dynamic and rewarding career.

To transition smoothly, focus on improving skills like requirement gathering, process modeling, and data analysis. Learning tools like SQL, Excel, and visualization software can also be beneficial. Business analysis involves problem-solving, communication, and strategic thinking, making it a great choice for those who enjoy understanding business challenges and finding solutions.

Taking structured training—such as those offered by Uncodemy—can help you build the necessary skills and knowledge to secure a BA role. If you are passionate about analyzing business needs and working closely with teams to drive solutions, then a career in business analysis can be a great fit.
