StumbleUpon Made Available for Android Tablets, New Features For The Mobile Users

Till now the app that was available only for the PC, ipad and android mobile phones. But finally a new app has been added to the android market that is solely meant for the android tablets and the likes for the app has crossed the desired limits. The StumbleUpon has all the features and functionality that is available in the new ipad app.

Apart from launching the android tablet app, they made some new changes for the mobile community as well. They mainly uniformed their features across the mobile apps, apart from adding few more functionalities to the existing apps. The superstar feature of StumbleUpon called the Explore Box which previously was meant only for the PC users is now available on mobile also. Founder Garrett Camp feels that such an inclusion will keep them tied to their phones and it will help them to explore more. The Swipe to Stumble, a premium feature of the ipad has now become a standard feature for every device. This feature enables user to swipe through the content by just a swipe on their screen. Content preloading for faster stumbling has also been incorporated with mobile apps.

StumbleUpon is fast becoming a very popular app. With almost 35% growth every month the mobile community is getting totally with this magical app. Camp feels that such a tremendous growth is mainly because people are now getting more involved with tabs and mobile for their entertainment and they need new stuff everyday.

Company’s future goal is to focus more on mobile apps. Perfecting the UI and adding social network feature will be the next task. And with all these new releases the company has finally succeeded in making the mobile functionality consistent.
