Sony Xperia XZ: Flagship Smartphone With Excellent Camera For Rs. 49990

While you might consider that with entry of newer brands like Oppo and Vivo, Sony would have been rendered obsolete you might be wrong. They got rid of the Z Series and have come up with Sony Xperia XZ. The smartphone has made a debut in India for Rs. 49,990 which seems a lot more expensive than other flagship offerings and it is. Does it justify the price though? Let’s find out. The highlight of the Sony Xperia XZ is the humongous 23MP camera on the rear that comes with triple imaging sensing technology, predictive laser hybrid auto focus with fast capture. Sony has its home grown 1/2.3” Exmor RS serving as the image sensor. The images captured by the camera both front and rear is processed by BIONZ image processing engine. Video recording which is in 4K is supported by 5 axis stabilisation known as SteadyShot with Intelligent Active Mode.

Sony has restrained itself when it comes to the display and opted for a 5.2inch Full HD display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 instead of a 2K one. It has crammed in its own TRILUMINOS display for mobile and X-Reality mobile picture engine. The Sony Xperia XZ has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset which is available for much cheap on the Lenovo Z2 Plus Goes On Sale At Amazon With Launch Offers. The Sony Xperia XZ has 3GB of RAM same as the Lenovo Z2 Plus along with 32GB of internal memory on the single SIM and 64GB on the dual SIM model. The Sony Xperia XZ has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

The connectivity options on the Sony Xperia XZ are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type C, NFC and LTE. The Sony Xperia XZ measures 146 x 72 x 8.1 mm, weighs 161 grams and will be available in Forest Blue, Mineral Black and Platinum colour variants.
