Sony Xperia M5 Price In India Is Rs. 37990 - Specs At Glance

When it comes to Sony's smartphone, one immediately starts thinking about the camera on it. With the new Sony Xperia M5 launching in India, there's the camera and a lot of other specifications that are worth checking out. Since being able to capture great shots has become the prime attraction among the features demanded in a smartphone, Sony Xperia M5 has given special attention to its snappers on both the front and rear. There's a 21.5 megapixels Exmor RS sensor camera on the rear end that features 0.25-second Hybrid Autofocus, 5x Clear Image Zoom and capability of 4K video capture. The front selfie camera comes with a 13 MP Exmor RS sensor Autofocus HDR Hybrid Autofocus features. The sample pictures taken from the Xperia M5 look great.

Coming to the basic technical specs, the Xperia M5 features a MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) 64-bit 2.0 GHz Octa-core processor and is powered by Google's Android 5.0 OS out of the box. A 2600 mAh battery provides the juice to the phone to make it last up to 8 hours on Full HD video watching and provides up to 12 hours of talk time.

The phone's body is waterproof and dust tight, is IP65/IP68 certified and comes with stainless steel corners. At 7.6 mm thickness, the phone comes with a 5 inch Full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and is powered by the Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2.

The Xperia M5 comes with a whopping large 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card, which makes it one of the few phones having that huge a storage capacity. Your phone can take care of all your storage needs - be it HD movies or large resolution photos.

On the connectivity front, the phone supports Bluetooth 4.1, aGPS, NFC, USB tethering, USB High speed 2.0 and Micro USB support as well as Wi-Fi and WiFi Hotspot functionality. Xperia M5 is a Dual SIM phone.

The phone is officially priced at Rs. 37,990 in India and will be soon available across retail and online stores across the country.
