Solar cell fabric is ready but our tailors aren't.

Going out for a walk to charge your Android might become a norm soon. Say hello to solar cell fabric from Japan's Sphelar Power that will act as your personal solar cell, generating enough power to charge your mobile phones & tablets. Check out the image of the fabric provided by the company that shows tiny solar cells woven into a piece of fabric below. The company says that it needs some time to make the fabric ready for commercial use. Work is already in progress on the coating of the wires and improving the overall durability of the fabric.

We won't be surprised to see sunscreen being offered free of cost with a solar shirt. Are you game for it?
