Researchers have developed computer algorithms that can detect your mood by listening to your voice. Well, the programs won't care about the meaning of the words, but pay attention to <em>how</em> you say them.



The speech recognition system being developed under the 'project bridge' is 81% accurate - and it's continuously being improved. The researchers say that the aim is to make the system speaker independent - one of the drawbacks of the current systems.
