We, most of Android users probably won't be using Stock ROM.
So I am initiating a thread where you can brag about your custom ROMS.

Please mention your phone company & model number, alongwith name of your ROM, Kernel & Developer (Never forget to give credit to Developer, they deserve it)

Rolling the dice,
Model - Samsung Y S5360-GT
ROM - JellyBean Blast
Kernel - Kurotsugi-Kuroz (Sometimes I go to Merruk)
Developer - Lead (AvijitGhosh)

    Model: Samsung Galaxy SII
    ROM: #-Link-Snipped-#
    Kernel: #-Link-Snipped-#
Developer Faryaab (This guy is 16 year old👍 )

This ROM is based on pure Nexus 4.1.2 and I have flashed Android 4.2 Google apps (Gmail and sphere camera)

Users reported that it would work better on 1GB Ram, as it heavily uses gyroscope and image processing.

What have the custom ROMs improved in your phone compared to stock ones? It would be great to include that detail too when u share about it.

Stock ROM always comes with manufacturer additional software, no one use those.

Also if you compare, you can find Custom ROMs are always build on latest sources. Samsung official update is Adroid 4.0.3 while I am using Android 4.1.2 with latest feature of 4.2 sources.
There are lots of choice to add features from other manufacturer. like on sumsung device I can find Sony Walkman player, Beats audio and some super user application which gives more control and cutomizability on your device.
If you have a popular android device go to #-Link-Snipped-# and you can find new features and ROMs for your phone.

+ You can flash other Kernel in Custom ROMs, as if I am using Kuroz kernel which very well known for longer battery, Merruk Kernel for Overclocking.
I have Y series so no official updates after 2.3.6 Gingerbread, so i flashed Custom Rom which have all features of JB 4.1.1 .
Stock Roms have plenty of bloatwares which you can easily remove just by rooting your device.
PS : Rooting the device will void the warranty. but you can easily get back the warranty by flashing stock rom & stock kernel using Odin.
