In winter season, when we cover ourself with a blanket, we feel hot.
But when we cover ourself with with 2 blankets we feel much hotter.
What's the reason?😁

You are shielding more from the outside cold temperature.

it has to do something with the air between two blankets ...

What durga said is correct.

Air is a bad conductor of heat. So, the air between the two blankets traps heat emitted by your body in the blanket. Hence you feel more warm.
