    Scavenger Bot - By iLabs

Kaustubh Katdare submitted a new project:

#-Link-Snipped-# - No one can mess in a Scavenger's area! It will Kick it out!

This bot built using iLabs Srijan Board moves randomly inside the bot's arena (marked by thick black line). The bot will continue to sense objects lying in its path. As soon as any object or obstacle is sensed, the bot will drag it out of its arena. After dragging the bot out, the bot will return inside its arena and start moving randomly again.

    #-Link-Snipped-#

Source code of the project has been attached.

This idea can be implemented in cases where you want to clear a particular area and just throw away whatever is not needed. Like people have messy beds, so just place the premade ring around the sleeping position on the bed and command the bot to remove everything from there. Automatically create space to sleep. Similarly can be done for a table also. But it will only be workable in places where considerable platform is available.

    One advanced implementation can be,

You made two colored rings, concentric actually. Place one bot inside the inner ring and one bot outside the outer ring. Make both of them active. It will automatically arrange all the stuff in either domain between the purview of the two rings. Can be useful for arranging racks/displays in considerate fashion.

Disabled on purpose. Future projects won't be able to share source code. I think the source code can still be shared through the abstract itself.

We're still considering a option to change this.

Well that you will have to ask the contributor of the project. It is not an on-damand download section.
