Samsung recently announced event ‘Premiere 2013’ scheduled for June 20 at Earls Court 2, London, where it’ll be unveiling latest additions to its Galaxy and ATIV portfolio. Tech enthusiasts may check out live streaming of the event at the company’s official YouTube channel from 6pm BST/ 1pm ET/ 10am PT/ 10.30om IST. It even released a teaser photo with three snapped images that offers an idea as to what the new devices shall look like. The event is scheduled exactly a week following Apple’s yearly developer conference, WWDC, where the tech-giant generally updates on substantial software and hardware updates. Also, Microsoft has scheduled its 2013 Build Conference on June 26, where its expected to unveil Windows Blue.

One rumor that’s growing stronger by the minute is of the smaller Galaxy S4- the S4 Mini, and apart from this we may expect multiple devices being simultaneously announced at the event. Also, the ATIV range is all set to kick ass for Samsung in Windows phone segment, with ATIV S released last year receiving just above average reviews. Nokia still reigns supreme in the small market share that Windows managed to garner in the past few years, and recently having overtaken BlackBerry in this race, it shall be definitely going for the kill this time.

In another news, online retailer Saholic has tagged the first under in Samsung Mega series, the Android dual-SIM Samsung Mega 5.8, as ‘Coming Soon’ in Indian markets, but the release date isn’t mentioned anywhere. The expected price range for this mobile is something around Rs 30,000/-.

It seems more than likely that the product to be launched will not be a windows phone. It could very well be a Windows 8 based laptop or tablet, which uses the Ativ name as well.
The image on the bottom left looks like an ultrabook. What say you, people?
