  • Earlier this week, features of Galaxy S5 mini were leaked and now images of Galaxy S5 Zoom have surfaced online. According to #-Link-Snipped-#, the Galaxy S5 Zoom will be a camera-centric version of the recently announced Galaxy S5 and could be renamed as ‘Galaxy K Zoom’. The device is expected to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, Galaxy S4 Zoom. Apart from a more compact body, S5 Zoom will also have a faux-leather finish back panel, which will be on the lines of Galaxy Note 3.

As it can be seen from the image, the backside of the phone has a big camera lens and there appears to be a Xenon flash with a faux-leather back. Sammobile claims that the lens will be much better hidden in the casing and will be much more compact. The image details the lens as follows; 4.4-44mm f3.3-6.7 24mm lens. This camera-centric variant will sport a 20.2-megapixel primary camera, 2.1-megapixel front camera with 10x optical zoom and will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Other specs include a 4.8-inch SuperAMOLED HD (1280×720) display, a quad-core 1.6 GHz processor, 2GB of RAM with a MicroSD card slot for expanding storage capacity. On the connectivity front, the device will offer Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, an IR blaster to remotely control your TV, NFC connectivity and Micro USB 2.0 port.

As of now, there is nothing official from Samsung to tell how accurate these leaks and rumors are. What are your views on this? Share with us in comments.
