Samsung Galaxy S3 - Features & Specs Overview In 2 Minutes

Samsung has finally unveiled the next flagship phone, Samsung Galaxy S3. Like any other Samsung product launch, S3 attracted its own share of leaks but it turns out that Samsung has managed to surprise and impress almost everyone. The Internet is already abuzz with information overload about Galaxy S3 and we thought of handpicking the info-bits about the new Samsung Galaxy S3 that are new and matter the most. So here's your two minute quick overview of Samsung Galaxy S3 -

Samsung announced that this phone has been 'designed for humans' and that means it knows when you're using it. The 'Smart Stay' feature makes use of the front facing camera and detects user movements and keeps the screen from going off. We hope this feature doesn't drain S3's 2100 mAh battery. The 'S Voice' feature is Sammy's rival of iPhone's Siri. There's a 'Smart Alert'' feature that senses when you've picked up your phone and then alerts you about the notifications through vibrations. From what we've gathered so far, the Smart Alert feature can automatically choose the most important notifications automatically. 'S Beam', as our smart readers would guess is built upon Android Beam feature for sharing files. But Sammy's taken it a step ahead by integrating it with NFC & WiFi Direct for larger file transfers. You could simply touch your phone to another phone and share large HD videos quickly.

Another most important feature you should be aware of is the 'Direct Call' feature. If you are reading a text message from your friend and want to talk to her, then simply lift the phone to your ear and the S3 will quickly know that it should make a call. The Direct Call feature is incredibly useful, we must say.

We're impressed, Samsung!
