Samsung BT S Pen Comes With Galaxy Note 10.1 And Surprises All!

Ever tried talking to a stylus? Samsung is here to give you the opportunity. The press kit in Galaxy Note 10.1's launch includes a BT S Pen (HM5100), which looks just like the normal S pen at first - a stylus that comes bundled with your Note, but this little device is much more capable than what it looks to be. It includes a Bluetooth, a microphone and a speaker. Yes! You got that right, the little stylus is capable of allowing the user to attend calls.

The stylus has a vibration mechanism that alerts the user of any incoming call. The call can then be picked with the 'call button' placed near the earpiece, and reports say that the call quality is quite amazing. The stylus provides a 3 hours talktime, 130 hours of standby and can be charged with the provided AC adapter that can be plugged in the micro-USB port right above the shirt clip. The pen weighs 21 grams and is Bluetooth 3.0 compatible, which enables you to use it with other devices as well. Price and availability of the device are not yet known.

Have a closer look at the stylus in the following video from Engadget:
