How does reverse power fault in a generator occurs and what are its causes?

    reverse power occurs in generator when two generator are running in parallel

    Reverse Power fault occurs when the generator's prime mover is unable to move the rotor at a required frequency. Thus due to this, the generator will actually start drawing the current instead of supplying. In other words, the generator will start acting as a motor.
