Raspberry Pi - The $25 Computer's First Model Is Out For Production

We've steadily seen the progress of Raspberry Pi. Last year this #-Link-Snipped-#. Then we saw #-Link-Snipped-# and the #-Link-Snipped-#. And the last time we checked, the Southampton engineers were busy #-Link-Snipped-# out of 64 Raspberry Pi Computers. Well, now we are back with some super cool news from the makers themselves. Unlike the popular $35 one, this model lacks ethernet and comes with only one USB slot and a 256MB of RAM. Promising to be cheaper (and you thought how cheap can it get?), there are definitely no compromises on its capabilities - In fact it uses almost half the power and packs new usabilities.

The team behind the sweet Raspberry Pi was flooded with demands for this $25 version and that's why they brought it first. But, they are making the $35 pc too, at the Sony factory in Pencoed, Wales. The enthusiasts among you, may want to take a look at the discussions at their #-Link-Snipped-#. In a very near future, we look forward to exciting projects with this Raspberry Pi PC. We would like to know how many of you are interested in this. Share with us in comments. It is the Life of Pi, after all.
