Porsche, the German Automobile Giant's flagship sports car - Porsche 911 is a design that has become iconic. In those countless dreams, this timeless idea isn't just a legendary Sports Car concept, but every fan's ride to carry out a heroic race victory. And since the 911m is turning 50 years old this year, a special 50th anniversary edition model is going to be made ready for a debut at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt in September. Limited to only 1963 cars. bookings for this car have already began and if you're filthy rich, you can buy one in India too.
Based on the 911 Carrera S just with a wider body, the 44 mm broader across the rear wheel arches and the highly dynamic and aggressive exterior styling is combined with features that have contributed to the 50-years success story of the car. The rear lid grille is painted in black and accented with chrome. The chrome-plated trim between the tail lights is further evidence of its loyalty to the first generation. Then, the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), with special tuning to complement the increased track width, adds to the exceptional cornering dynamics. The car also features a sports exhaust system for increased emotional character and the small but striking "911 50" logo on the rear takes its inspiration from the famous typography of the early 911 models.

Powered by a 3.8-litre flat-six engine that produces massive 400bhp, The 911 50 Years Edition car model accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in just 4.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 300 kmph. If you do book one of these babies with a basic retail price of Rs. 1,72,56,000 in India, you should know that the first deliveries are scheduled to start in December this year.
