Hi! Iam doing software engineering and now in my 5th semester. My university is offering me to shift to a new discipline of network security engineering. They are replacing some important subjets like artificial intelligence, compiler construction and quality assurance in this new network field with cryptography, number theory like subjects. Iam confused in deciding as some told me that in case of shifting to network security engg, you will limit your scope as compare to a vast field of software engineering. Please suggest me some right direction.0

Go for the discipline in which you are more interested. Are you sure? This action cannot be undone. -

I don't know much about network security.I am more skilled in mathematics as compare to programming but network security and soft engg involve both of these so even hesitant in choosing my favourite one. What is your opinion? Are you sure? This action cannot be undone. -

Hi...i js wanna say that if u r interested in softwares then do not go for network security. N if u go for network security then there will b 2 choices for u in future. So u decide weather u want only 1 option or many.
Good Luck buddy 😀Are you sure? This action cannot be undone. -

No,that's not the case.If i join the software 1, then i hv many optionz in the future for specialization, but if i go for network's, i will just limit myself to network security. The thought confusing me is just that network's has more scope then software:-(Are you sure? This action cannot be undone.
