Philips Hf3470/60 Wake Up Light: Perfect Alarm Clock For A Perfect Day!

Bored with your old alarm clock’s beep or tring (or wails)? Try this innovative product from Phillips. The Philips Hf3470 wake up light is designed keeping in mind the natural waking process in humans. We all are designed to wake up in the morning due to the sunlight lightening up our surrounding. And this process is gradual. So the designers kept this fact in mind to bring forth the alarm clock which not only rings but also doubles up as a lamp. The lamp gradually lights up and the alarm sounds when the preset time comes.

#-Link-Snipped-#The “lightening” features include:
•    The light intensity slowly increases 30 minutes before the wake up time.
•    The sensitivity of the light can be adjusted according to personal needs. The time needed to wake up is inversely proportional to the intensity of the light. Hence the manufacturers have provided adjustable light intensity up to 250 lux.
•    The alarm can be of three types: Friendly Beep, Bird singing sound or built in digital FM radio. If the radio mode is selected, the radio will start to blare at the wake up time. Then it will increase in volume gradually to the level you have selected already.
•    The device can be used as bedside lamp and provided with 20 different brightness settings.
