If you're looking for a budget tablet, that is powered by Android and not as cheap as the Indian Government's Aakash II, then you've a new choice - Pantel WS802C-2G. The last two letters indicate that this is a 2G tablet (when the world is going ga ga over 3G and 4G) and it doubles as a telephone. You can make voice calls with this android tablet. Interested? The Pantel WS802C-2G is powered by 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor and offers an 8" multi-touch capacitive real estate. You have 8 GB of data storage space and 1GB of internal memory (RAM). You may expand the internal storage to about 32 GB via the micro SD cards. Like its rivals, the tablet offers you plenty of connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Mini-USB, Regular USB (for Dongle connection), Bluetooth and HDMI port. There's a built-in SIM slot which accepts your 2G SIM card to let you make calls. There's VGA camera on the front for your video calling needs - but don't expect much quality from it.

BSNL offers 4GB of data bundled with this tablet. However, the validity the data plan is limited to 2 months. The price of Pantel WS802C-2G, including BSNL SIM card (along with free data bundle) is Rs. 8,299.
