Olympus SZ-30MR Can Capture Full HD Movies & 16MP Photos Simultaneously
Olympus is redefining the future of digital cameras. The Olympus SZ-30MR sports a dual image processor which can capture full HD 1080p videos and also capture great high quality images at 16 MP. The camera doesn't stop there. The camera features dual image stabilization, fast burst shooting and a tracking autofocus.

The camera utilizes 16 MP backlit CMOS sensors (ISO3200 ). In the camcorder mode, the camera can record in full HD mode at about 9fps. The new technology called "Shadow Adjustment Technology" takes care of the dark areas and the relatively bright areas within the same frame. The resulting image is same as what you get with naked eyes.
Apart from the regular digital camera features, the SZ-30MR features Intelligent Auto shooting mode, along with 30 others to take care of the optimum settings depending upon the environmental conditions. There's a 3D mode which captures images from slightly different perspectives and produces stereoscopic MPO photos. There's a beauty mode that takes cares of the wrinkles as well.On the back side of the camera is a 3" LCD display which acts as viewfinder and displays the images in real time. There's a USB and HDMI port which you can use to transfer your stills and videos to computer or directly stream to a larger LCD or LED panel.
The camera will be available in the USA for $399.99 in April 2011.
