    Hi,I'm taking degree in electronic engineering.We are going to do our final year project.I seek help from my lecturer and he gave me the title about oil-filled transformer but i dont really know the directions to do it.Hope to get helping hands here.really appreciate much.
    my lecturer has provided me 3 titles such as:
    1.Design of oil type transformer by using MATLAB
    2.Analysis of oil type transformer in 3 phases power system
    3.Testing of the oil type transformer by using different type of oils and building prototype

    Great to get your replied.Ya,my project is exactly to design and study about the oil filled transformer.And how to relate the programming part of oil filled transformer by using MATLAB software.Hope you can help me with my problem.THANK YOU.

    I hope you are using MATLAB/SIMULINK for design. Every engineering problem can be converted in to set of mathematical equations.Mathematical modelling is to build up the machine by mathematical equations. So i think mathematical modelling of transformer is not complex as other sync machine or induction machine. You need to study all the indepth mathematical equations involved for transformers and mostly u will be using SIMULINK ( graphical representation of MATLAB).. get some books involving mathematical equations of the machine and try to simulate it.. ( of course it is not very easy to do i know but make a try..u can get it). See some IEEE papers about your topic or atleast find some research paper and try to gather all the resources listed at the back of the research paper and start your work..
