Nomophobia - Fear Of Not Having Mobile Phone

I just discovered a new word called "nomophobia" which means fear of not having a mobile phone. It's an abbreviation of 'No-Mobile Phone Phobia'. According to a study conducted by CISCO, it was discovered that about 90% of the people under age 30 suffered from Nomophobia and approximately 20% of the people texed while driving. Nearly 50% of the Nomophobic people never turned off their phones.

I'm curious to know how many of the CEans can identify themselves as nomophobics? Cast your vote in the poll above.

If you are a nomophobic, tell us what the symptoms are and why do you think not having a mobile phone is a big deal?
