Need which device to set up VoIP system in my office?

  IAD/ATA modems can be connected to your normal Home phone... and boom!!! they are now VoIP phones...
  
  BAsically an IAD modem has 2 to 6 voice ports and same with ATA as well... you can connect only those many numbers of telephones...
  apart from these you as well have Nortel's/CISCO EMTA mdems... this is high speed optical modem which runs on DOCSIS 1.0 or DOCSIS 1.1 standards...

  if its for internal communication... get Skype phones... these phones allow you to call any other skype user for free ( i guess) who is loged into his account in skype
