After unveiling a set of new Windows based smartphones like Lumia 710 & 800 and soon to be launched Lumia 900, Nokia seems to have set their eyes on the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona. The trade show will be featuring various other companies but with numerous rumours coming around, the focus has shifted to Nokia this year.

Day one of the MWC is scheduled for Nokia's press conference where it is expected that the company's roadmap for the year 2012 would be announced. Nokia has kept a check on its recent announcements till the trade show but a partner company seems to have shared Nokia's plans with Nokia Launching At Least One High-End Phone At MWC Barcelona Show This Month. While the source did not confirm the device to be a Windows Phone but hinted about an unusual software which is basically found in the smartphones of higher end segment.

Nokia has been avoiding MWC for the last two years as the company declined a booth in 2010 and held an offsite press event in 2011, but this year the return of Nokia to MWC has sparked a lot of interest and the expectation has gone up high. While Tech blogs around the world has been reporting about possibility of a Windows based Tablet or an improved Lumia 900 (called Lumia 910) with 12 MP camera, the company has been #-Link-Snipped-# such rumours lately confirming Lumia 910 doesn't exist.

The wait is till February 27, when the MWC starts and we are sure to have a new device from Nokia. Keep coming back to CrazyEngineers for the complete coverage and news of the event.
