Multiple input sound card

hello. i chose sound localization for my FYP. i am doing computer engineering. i am looking for a sound card that takes multiple inputs and processes them in parallel.
please tell me where to look one for? or a link would be helpful
also if anyone has ever done this sort of a project before, i would love to get some some help
