Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola had launched the Moto G5 and G5 Plus at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year. The phones quickly arrived on Indian shores. The Moto G5 Plus was launched as a Flipkart exclusive and now it is the turn of the younger sibling which has teamed up with Amazon for its launch. The Moto G5 was launched today at a press event at 12:15pm. The Moto G5 costs Rs. 11,999 which is cheaper than the Moto G5 Plus that costs Rs. 16,999. This put it directly in competition with the very popular Redmi Note 4 whose top end variant costs Rs.12,999.
