MojoStreet.com Gets $350k From Former MSFT & nVidia India MDs

MojoStreet.com - a stealth based startup from Hyderabad, India has raised $350k from Srini Koppolu (Former MD of Microsoft India) & Mr. J.A. Chowdhary (Former MD of nVidia, India). The startup plans to use the funds for their hiring efforts and launch the beta version of their application in May. MojoStreet is working on location based app in the form of a game and allow users to login from multiple location points. In the beginning, the company aims to make the service available at 5.5 million locations throughout India and gradually expand the service to other countries including USA & Singapore.

Founder and CEO of MojoStreet, Mr.  Kalyan Manyam who earlier founded Indian social network "IndyaRocks" has partnered with several retail outlets in India to complement the gaming experience. Once the user signs in to the service, he/she will be offered MojoBucks (virtual money) and also unlock special offers (depending on the place) and pile up virtual case over a period of time. The app will be made available on all popular mobile platforms including iPhone, Blackberry, Nokia and Android.
