Modal Analysis of Composite beams

Hi guys

I need to find the natural frequency of 1st mode of vibration of a cantilever beam. Its not of a single material. How do you suggest i go about it?

P.s: I've been struggling to install ANSYS.. I think that software will help. Any links for downloading ANSYS??

    You really want to do it by FEA? I think u can do it with analitic methods

    I was under the impression that FEA method would be the simplest... Particularly using an FEA software.

    Can u suggest a link that would give me an overview of the analytical methods?
