i've just registered the crazyengineers
can any1 tell me good topics 4 mini project in vb

1) You can develop a speech reponse application using some hardware interface using the Microsoft SAPI SDK
2) You can develop a Microsoft Word like application in VB ( a text editor basically)
3) You can develop a LAN administrator tool (socket programming comes easy in VB) which will monitor application on a LAN and provide functions like remote install/uninstall, audit and reporting etc.

You can provide a sort of oracle interface.Means you can build automatic query builder in VB which will be fired in database.

I had thought of making a Sudoku game console in C.. Im a bit stumped as to how to implement this using vb6... I'd really appreciate it if i got some help on these lines... And what exactly do you mean by an Image processing application? 😕

Also i had also considered making a parking management system.. But it feels a bit bland to me...
Other prospects that im considering are
1.) Implementing a Virtual Classroom.. Though im a bit stumped as to how to get this working as well
2.) Logistics Management or a Courier Tracking system...

Any insight on anyone of these topics will be quite appreciated!!
