This year will see the Microsoft in a new avatar as they have unveiled their new corporate logo. The logo which was used until now was introduced in 1987 and has been used in all their products ever since. The new logo contains symbol for the first time. The squares of colors; blue, orange, green and yellow signify the company’s vast product range and Segoe font was used to write the logo type. If you notice closely it incorporates the old logo which had the letters ‘f’ and‘t’ joined together which is one of the features that the company wanted to include in the new logo.

The new logo can be seen on the Microsoft website and Microsoft retail stores in Boston, Seattle’s University Village and Bellevue. The company will take time in implementing this logo universally. The logo had been previously seen in its new hardware products before the official unveiling. The new logo has been brought in a time when Microsoft is planning to bring Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, New Xbox services and Office 2013. So what do you think about this new logo?
