The trend of selling products exclusively through an e-commerce website is gearing up. Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax is no exception. The company has added another device in their Canvas line up which will be sold exclusively through #-Link-Snipped-#. This time around, Indiaâs smartphone giant has released a tablet named Canvas breeze P660 - a lighter version of previously launched Canvas tab P666. Let's check what they are offering and if the device capable of competing with other tablets in the same price range.
For starters, this tablet sports a 7.85â IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, which is good for video streaming. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core MediaTek processor paired with a 1GB of RAM. It also offers a sufficient storage option of 8GB internal and 32 GB expandable memory. As we know, most of the tablets don't have good cameras and this one is no exception. The Micromax Canvas Breeze comes with a 5MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary one on the front.
Moving on to the connectivity section, here we have a tablet with dual SIM support, voice calling and the usuals such as 3G, bluetooth, WiFi b/g/n and GPS. Canvas Breeze is one of the slimmest tablets in the market with 6.9 mm thickness and is backed up by a 4000mAH battery. Though Canvas Breeze tablet is good on the hardware side, it fails to impress with its software. The slate comes with 4.2 Jelly bean out of the box and there is no confirmation on Android's version upgrade.
Micromax Canvas Breeze tab comes with a price tag of Rs. 9,990. In that price segment, it has to face many competitors such as the likes of HP voice tab, Lenovo tab and Asus Fonepad 7. What are your views on this sleek slate? Share your views through comments.
