Is it that difficult to get 5 new updates per day ? I don't think so !
PS : No hating .. Just being honest.

No, they aren't reckless. It's that the responsibility is huge and I think it wasn't apparent from our initial announcement. We ultimately aim to have a team to take care of the content on the site so that we can focus on launching newer, never-done-before stuff on CE. Currently most of the time is spent in making sure that we keep generating content to attract visitors and keep CE afloat (at present; it's more or less traffic => revenues for us). Considering CE's full time venture for us; we can't ignore traffic; and of course, content.

If we get volunteers to take up the responsibility of 'original' content generation; the rest of us can focus on bringing new stuff faster. Unfortunately, generating 'original' content (aka non copy-pasted) is a huge challenge. Historically, while recruiting bloggers we've faced this issue - that most of the applicants think they're smart enough to steal content from other resources and pass it on as their own. It just doesn't help us grow and in fact, goes against us. We've had 'concerns' expressed by the likes of MSN.

Even if 5-10 of our existing CEans come forward and take up responsibility of creating interesting discussions on regular (daily) basis; we'll have lot of bandwidth to spare to take CE forward at a faster rate.

Getting 5 updates a day is not a big deal,
Getting 5 replies on those updates is definitely ALSO not at all a big deal.

I would have loved that instead of asking for community leader *BADGE*; We would try to reply.. at least 2-3 replies from regular CEan's on the News / Gadgets / discussions. That would also help in generating / attracting traffic, which is a primary goal for now. isn't it?

DO NOT MEAN to have forum FLAMES PLEASE.

Really,I am actually not interested in any "Internet Badges",I don't think CE Badges is something that I am ever gonna mention in my Resume in coming future.

Anyways,
Biggie - I am sure that many CEans will come up if you announce it officially.
Even though we've many regular visitors in CE,Most of the times CE seems so DEAD !

No Events !
No Quiz !

A few days ago, we asked people to nominate mods and people volunteered more to say they aren't interested in becoming mods.

But we'll surely organise special events. All the focus currently is on launching a few new features.
