Maconomy signs deal with leading engineering, design and consultancy company

Maconomy UK has signed a contract with Ramboll UK. The deal includes a Maconomy Professional Services Solution with Business Intelligence capabilities for 550 users.
London 2nd November 2009 - Maconomy, an ERP solution provider to knowledge-intensive and project-focused companies, continues to expand its reach within the engineering sector.
Ramboll is a leading engineering, design and consultancy company at the forefront of engineering. From across 200 offices they apply their engineering skills and passion to a wide range of projects in the UK and around the world. Throughout its history Ramboll has received numerous awards which recognise the innovative and technical skills of its team.
Current Ramboll projects include the new Tate Modern extension in London, the Ferrari-themed theme park ‘Ferrari World’ in Abu Dhabi and a new international airport in Russia.
This deal once again shows how engineering organisations are increasingly aware of the value they can derive from Maconomy’s integrated project-focused end-to-end solutions.
“As the complexity of the business has increased, greater demands were pushing the limits of what the existing systems were designed for. To date these demands have been addressed by developing add on systems internally that use the core data in our financial system and present the information in line with our specific needs. The ERP solution from Maconomy addresses this with its standard functionality.”

Ramboll were looking for a fast deployment in order to improve project planning with better financial control by adopting best practice processes and workflows, as well as being able to improve cash management.
