LG V30 to feature a glass back for wireless charging and Android 8.0

The LG V30, a high-end successor of LG G6, is rumored to get its official debut at IFA in Berlin at the end of August. Many third party news agencies seem to guarantee a success for the upcoming phone if it will fulfill the wishes that G6 could not meet. The in-trend processor being the first criteria, LG needs to put a lot more than a 2-year warranty to tackle the competition. With market response still under way, we decided to get you up to speed with the specifications of the model in talks.

What will it have in store for us? Leaks suggest that the V30 will come up with a glass back panel to support wireless charging. Interestingly, none of the V series phones have featured a glass back before while the G6 version has it. Giving a hint to compete with Samsung, LG probably is going after the great unification of the two flagship series, V and G, just like Samsung's S and Note line up. Also, the phone is likely to share the V20's dual-lens rear camera setup and will sport LG's very own OLED panel.

Further, LG is ready to rectify the mistake it has committed with G6 by offering V30, the Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with a 6GB RAM. The top-class specifications will shine brighter in this gadget if the price justifies the total package, instead of an unbelievable price tag glued to it. The LG V30 will also feature a fingerprint scanner at the rear panel.

One of the biggest of these rumors also suggests that the phone will run on Android 8.0. Not to forget, the V30 setup will bring a lot of features together that we have seen in the best in class models such as OnePlus 5 and Xiaomi Mi 6. With the latest software synchronized with its power packed core, we need to wait to see how it goes with the LG V30.
