LG V20 Delivers Best Multimedia Experience With Android Nougat

LG G5 has already made a mark in the smartphone market with its unique modular design and Friends accessories. If you thought that the LG G5 was out of your budget, then you are in luck. LG has released a new smartphone that has all the capabilities of a flagship and comes with the latest Android operating system, Nougat. The LG V20 is the successor of the LG V10 which was well known for its tiny second screen. The LG V20 retains the Second Screen but has doubled the brightness and font size. On the LG V20 you can expand the notifications and send a reply using the main 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) IPS quantum display with 513ppi.

LG touts the V20 as a multimedia powerhouse and it isn’t kidding. If you are an audiophile you will be excited to find a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC powered by ESS SABRE ES9218. ESS Technologies is one of the leading names in the high-performance audio. This addition helps the LG V20 to deliver clearer sound by minimising distortion and ambient noise with 75-stage fine volume and L/R balance controls. The LG V20 plays all the lossless audio formats like FLAC, DSD, AIFF and ALAC. LG V20 is the first smartphone to feature HD Audio Recorder that captures audio using three on-board microphones. In Studio Mode you can take control of the recording using easy-to-use controls. In Music Mode you can record voice over existing audio.

If flawless video recording is your need, the LG V20 delivers it with the help of Steady Record 2.0 and Hi-Fi Video Recording. The Steady Record 2.0 is courtesy of the Qualcomm’s Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) 3.0 that is gyro-based to counteract shaky camera work. The audio that you record on the LG V20 is captured using 24-bit / 48 kHz Linear Pulse Code Modulation (LPCM) along with video and options like Low Cut Filter to remove noise. Finally we arrive on the still camera department where we have a standard angle 16MP and 8MP wide angle lens on the rear and a 5MP wide angle sensor on the front.
