  • LG, the South Korean manufacturer, had got its tablet LG G Pad 8.3 under lot of anticipation and rumors. But without much adieu, ahead of the IFA 2013 Berlin launch, LG had revealed the LG G Pad tech specs and what it would look like. The 8.3-inch tablet sports a Full HD display with 1,920 x 1,200 resolution at 273 pixels per inch. Powering this tablet is a 1.7GHz, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. With the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system for the device, LG is going to kick the butt of many a few android tablets in the market.

There's a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing device for video chat. As far as the storage is concerned, users get 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage. The LG G Pad 8.3 features a 4,600mAh battery and weighs just 338 grams. "Complementing our G Series smartphones, the introduction of the LG G Pad 8.3 further strengthens LG's premium lineup consisting of our most cutting-edge devices," Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of the LG Mobile, said in a statement. "Our G Pad is just another example of LG delivering devices with the unique selling points consumers around the world will appreciate."

There's a whole range of app that will come pre-loaded with the LG G PAD tablet. There's a QPair app that will allow users to check calls and messages received on a smartphone to show up on the LG Pad, from which users can also reply. The feature will work with non-LG smartphones, though a Jelly Bean-based gadget is recommended, LG said. Similarly, the QMemo app will also sync notes between devices. For multi-tasking, QSlide will allow for up to three apps to run at once; slide unneeded apps off to the side with a three-finger swipe. The KnockON feature turns the device on and off when the user taps the display twice. LG said the G Pad will come in black or white and roll out in North America, Europe, Asia, and elsewhere in the fourth quarter.

There's no official word about the pricing details of this tablet. That along with other features will be listed at the time of launch itself. On scrolling down the page I found that LG is doing a pretty decent job in Smartphone and tablet industry. All the features are awesome and it satisfies the customer requirement at todays scenario.Battery, camera, secondary cam, ram, display all looks great with LG brand.I definitely bet that it wont be a cheap tab.For these fully loaded features LG would price near 25k to 35 k.Lets wait for the official word from LG.Can it compete Sony pads and ipads?
