LG EA93 And EA83 Premium IPS Monitors Bring Ultra Wide Screens In Market

At the time when Philips has discontinued the production of its 21:9 aspect ratio displays, LG is trying out the same thing but with a twist. LG has launched the EA93, a 29-inch panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio and resolution of 2560*1080 pixels .The product is being marketed as a ‘ideal multimedia and multi tasking solution’. The multimedia part is explained by the fact that the EA93 captures 100% of the defined sRGB color space to give rich colors and the 300nits brightness which results in higher quality pictures. LG has given the huge display a 4-Screen Split feature that divides the display area into four segments for better multi tasking. The Dual Link-up function allows two devices to connect to the monitor simultaneously. This IPS panel display has Mega contrast ratio and has a response time of 5ms. The viewing angles both horizontally and vertically is 178 degrees. In terms of connecting interfaces it has one DVI-D Dual port, two HDMI ports, four USB 3.0 ports, one Display Port, PC Audio in and Headphone Out.
