LeEco Pro 3 AI edition smartphone launched with LeLe AI assistant, dual camera, deca-core processor

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Leshi Internet Information and Technology Corp which is also known as LeEco, has revealed its latest smartphone LeEco Pro 3 AI edition in China. It is the first smartphone from LeEco to feature a dual camera setup at the rear, and apart from that, it comes loaded with an AI-based voice assistant called LeLe which will allow users to carry out a number of day to day tasks by using their voice. The smartphone is made available in gold, rose gold and black color options and is priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 16,800) for the Helio X23 SoC - 32GB model and CNY 2,399(approximately Rs 22,500) for the Helio X27 SoC - 64GB model.

The main highlight of the LeEco Pro 3 AI edition smartphone is its AI assistant LeLe which can be activated by voice even when the screen is turned off. The AI assistant LeLe like all other AI assistants out there learns from the user's usage patterns and suggests actions based on it. It is well integrated with all of the LeEco’s apps alongside a number of third-party applications and will get better as it continues to learn more over time.

Coming to the specifications, the LeEco Pro 3 AI edition flaunts a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display offering a pixel density of 403ppi and a maximum brightness of 600 units with 2.5D curved glass on the top for protection. There are two variants for the processor and the storage, with the base model housing the 2.3GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X23 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage while the high-end Eco edition is powered by the 2.6GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X27 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage.

On the photography department, the LeEco Pro 3 AI edition boasts of the company's first rear dual camera setup with two 13-megapixel sensor that works in the RGB + monochrome format using the LE IMAGE AI Engine. There is PDAF, 4K video recording at 30fps, 720p slo-mo recording at 120fps and dual LED flash accompanying it. On the other side, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with 1.4um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture 76.5-degree wide angle lens for selfies and video calling.

The LeEco Pro 3 AI edition smartphone gets all of its power from the 4000mAh non-removable battery and runs on the EMUI 5.9 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
