The Lava X81 was launched today with the purpose to cater the budget conscious people a stylish handset that would not hurt their pockets. The Lava X81 features a 2.5D curved display that provides a smoother touch experience and a comfortable grip. The Lava X81 comes in stylish colours like Space Grey and Gold just like Apple iPhones. The Lava X81runs the home grown Star OS 3.0 that is based on Android Marshmallow.

The Lava X81 sports a 5inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution display which has a pixel density of 294ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Underneath the hood we find a 64bit 1.3GHz processor from MediaTek that is coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM to provide unprecedented multitasking experience. The Lava X81 has an internal memory of 16GB and it lets you expand that storage with the help of microSD cards of up to 64GB.

The Lava X81 does well in the department of photography with its 13MP rear camera that comes with dual LED flash and shooting modes like Beauty-fi for face sliming, smoothing, eye widening and whitening and Pic-focus for focusing on a subject and blurring the background. The rear camera is capable of recording videos in slow motion as well as capture time lapse videos. On the front of the Lava X81 we have a 5MP camera with an 84degree wide lens and LED flash and LCD flash for infusing extra brightness on to your dimly lit selfies.
