Kinect For Windows 1.5 Coming In May & In 19 More Countries
Craig Eisler, General Manager of the Kinect for Windows project announced on the official MSDN blog that they're getting ready to launch #-Link-Snipped-# in 19 more countries -Â Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, India, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates. He also promised that the version 1.5 will be made available around end of May. The new version brings lot of excitement with Kinect Studio which is an application that lets the developers record, play and debug the clips of users engaging with their applications. Version 1.5 also brings skeleton tracking; also called as seated or 10-joint tracking which offers more control over tracking a person seated or standing. The technology will now be able to track all the movements of head, neck, arms & legs of any user in front of the #-Link-Snipped-# tracking cameras and it will function in both near and default mode.
